- Cryogenic photochemical synthesis of heavy cyanopolyynes (HC2n+1N, NC2nN) and their spectroscopy.
- Photochemistry and spectroscopy of C3H3N-family compounds (vinyl cyanide, vinyl isocyanide, etc.)
- Photochemistry and spectroscopy of C4H3N-family compounds (methylcyanoacetylene, allenyl cyanide, propargyl cyanide, etc.)
- Photochemistry and spectroscopy of methyldicyanoacetylne (CH3C5N).
- Cavity ring-down spectroscopy of astrophysically relevant molecules.
- Metal-containing astrophysical molecules (HMgNC, HMgCN, MgC3N, MgNC3, etc.)
- Cryogenically created noble gas compounds.
- Photochemistry and spectroscopy of the halogen derivatives of cyanoacetylene, XC3N.
- Spectroscopy of thiocyanates, isothiocyanates and other sulphur-bearing astrophysically significant molecules.
- Astrochemistry of HSCN & HNCS.
- Astrochemistry of [C2 + He] and [C2+H2] collisions.
- Theory of some isomerization reactions of astrochemical interest.
